In 1965, the Central Central Pharmaceutical Factory (the predecessor of Danapha Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company) with the code name K25 was established with the purpose of producing medicine to serve officers, soldiers and people.

Danapha Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company currently has 2 factories, 7 branches and sales offices. The company is completing the project "Pharmaceutical Factory and High-Tech R&D Center" at Lot A22, Road No. 3, Danang Hi-Tech Park (Hoa Vang District) with a scale of nearly 1,500 billion VND.
The goal of the factory when completed and put into use is to create a source of high-quality medicine to serve people's health at reasonable costs and prices in accordance with the policy of the Vietnamese Ministry of Health on people's health care.
In April 2024, at Furama Resort Danang, Danapha was honored to receive a certificate of merit from the President of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) to encourage businesses and VCCI members with positive results and many contributions to VCCI's activities in the Central Highlands - Central region in 2023.
