A mediation session regarding the defamation lawsuit filed against former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin took place today (January 6).
The lawsuit, filed by a former ADOR employee, seeks approximately 100 million won ($75,000) in damages for defamation and false accusations. Min Hee Jin is accused of causing harm to the former ADOR employee after being sexually assaulted by former ADOR Vice President “A.”
It is reported that the former employee will agree to settle if Min Hee Jin admits her wrongdoing and makes a formal apology.
As public attention focuses on whether Min Hee Jin will attend the trial and apologize, Min Hee Jin's side has yet to make any statement on the matter.
Lawyer Jeon Hyeong-hye, the legal representative of the former ADOR employee, stated that they want Min Hee Jin to admit her mistakes and apologize. They think it will be difficult to reach a financial settlement on this lawsuit.
