In recent days, the ticket sales situation for Lisa's fan meeting in Asian countries has attracted attention.
According to Kbizoom, only 15% of the tickets were sold after Lisa's first day of sales in Singapore. In Indonesia, by the third day, only nearly half of the tickets were sold.
As of October 31, on Ticketmaster, there were still many empty seats for Lisa's fan meeting in Singapore. The organizers even had to reduce the number of tickets by 35% due to slow ticket sales due to the high price.
The old ticket price of this event was commented to be as expensive as the concerts of the world's top stars such as Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift.
In Indonesia, ticket prices range from $117 to $378, higher than the average worker’s salary. In Singapore, ticket prices range from $168 to $378, not including 15% tax and other services.
This price has sparked controversy on forums. Many viewers believe that Lisa has few songs, limited live singing ability, but the tickets are too expensive, making it difficult to fill the stadium.
According to the previously announced schedule, Lisa's tour starts on November 11 and ends on November 19 with 5 locations: Bangkok (Thailand), Jakarta (Indonesia), Kaohsiung (Taiwan, China) and Hong Kong (China).
This is not the first time Lisa has received mixed opinions since leaving YG Entertainment.
Previously, Lisa has been constantly controversial for lip-syncing on big stages. She was named by the American media after her performances at the Global Citizen Festival, the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards and most recently the Victoria’s Secret Show.
The Daily Mail called Lisa “the worst lip-syncer ever.” The New York Post used the term “K-flop” to refer to Lisa’s lackluster performance when Billboard ranked Lisa 16th – the lowest in the list of performances at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards.
At the Victoria's Secret Show, Lisa was accused of overshadowing the models because of her gorgeous outfit. In the past, guest singers at the show did not wear angel wings. Victoria's Secret model wings are a symbol of talent and influence, reserved for veteran models.
