Huong Giang speaks out about the Miss Universe 2025 contest
After being chosen to represent Vietnam at Miss Universe 2025, Miss Transformer Huong Giang became the focus of social networks. This decision caused controversy when many people thought that there were still 2 runners-up Quynh Anh and Thuy Quynh who had not had the opportunity to compete internationally.
In response to the scandal, Huong Giang spoke up to affirm that Miss Universe opened the door for transgender women, married women, and women with children, not because they lacked beauty but because they wanted to spread the message of equality. After much deliberation, she decided to accept the invitation from the President of Miss Universe Vietnam, believing that this was an opportunity to bring a positive message to society.
In response to the controversy on social networks about herself, Huong Giang shared: "Instead of asking: Why Huong Giang?", I chose to ask: Why can't it be Huong Giang?".
"If it were Huong Giang, that would mean anyone with the same starting point as me could have done it. A person with a starting point like me can one day stand on the Miss Universe stage, to shine in front of billions of people around the world, you can too", Huong Giang expressed his opinion.
Huong Giang's statement continued to cause controversy when the majority of the audience did not see Huong Giang as a suitable choice.
Huynh Anh Tuan returns after stroke
After a period of treatment and rehabilitation due to a stroke, actor Huynh Anh Tuan was discharged from the hospital and returned to cooking production.
On September 25, the actor posted his first clip after the health incident, enthusiastically going into the kitchen with his assistant with steamed banana cakes. The manager said that the actor's health has improved significantly, his right hand has more strength and communication, but he still needs special nutrition and activities to recover.
