The information was announced by the VNU-HCM Training Quality Assessment and Testing Center on the morning of February 21.
Previously, from January 20 to February 20, VNU-HCM opened the registration portal for the first round of the 2025 National High School Exam.
During the above period, 130,498 candidates registered for the exam, of which 127,964 candidates had completed the procedures to pay the exam fees.
The completion of the exam fee payment is expected to be completed by February 23 (exchanged from the previously expected February 21), so the number of candidates officially registered to take the exam is expected to increase.
In 2025, the first round of the exam will be held on March 30 in 25 provinces/cities: Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Tien Giang, Vinh Long, Bac Lieu, Ca Mau, Can Tho, Kien Giang, An Giang, Dong Thap, Tay Ninh, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Dak Lak, Ho Chi Minh City.
It is expected that the results of the first round will be announced to candidates on April 16.
During the registration process and taking the exam, candidates will be arranged to take the exam at the exam location near their high school. The contest notice is provided online through the contestant's account registered one week before the contest date.
Candidates must log into their account to print the exam registration form, which they can use when taking the exam. At the same time, candidates must use the original citizen identification card or ID card when taking the exam.
From 2025, VNU-HCM will only issue electronic exam results certificates, not paper results certificates. Candidates can download the results certificate from their personal accounts and use it to register for admission.
