The Ministry of Education and Training is seeking opinions on the Draft Decree regulating preferential allowances according to occupation for civil servants and employees working in public educational institutions, in which the preferential allowance level for preschool teachers is proposed.
Specifically, the 45% allowance applies to civil servants and employees working in teaching in preschool education institutions.
The 60% allowance applies to civil servants and employees working in teaching in kindergartens in communes of regions I and II of ethnic minority and mountainous areas; island communes, islands, border communes, and safe-haven communes according to Government regulations.
The 80% allowance applies to civil servants and employees working in preschool education institutions in areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions as prescribed by the Government.
Thus, for preschool teachers, the new draft is expected to increase allowances from 35% to 45% in favorable areas and to 80% in areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions, in order to accurately reflect the level of complexity and work pressure.
Expected to receive a preferential allowance of 45%, preschool teacher salary will be calculated as follows:

Preschool teachers can also receive additional seniority allowances (for 5 years of work or more), position allowances, etc., so the actual allowance will be higher. Preschool teachers are a special and hard-working profession, so a higher monthly income will contribute to improving their lives, helping teachers feel secure in sticking with the profession.
