Times Higher Education (THE) has just announced the world university rankings by field in 2026.
Vietnam has 9/11 fields ranked in the world rankings, including: Arts and Humanities, Business and Economics, Computer Science, Educational Research, Engineering, Life Sciences, Health and Health, Physical Sciences, Social Sciences.
Compared to last year, Vietnam is present for the first time in the field of Arts and Humanities. In this field, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City is the only representative present, ranked in group 601-800.
The field with many Vietnamese higher education institutions ranked first is Engineering with 9 representatives. In which Duy Tan University, Ton Duc Thang University ranked highest in group 301-400, similar to last year. Followed by Ho Chi Minh City Open University, in group 601-800.
In the field of Business and Economics, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics ranked highest in the group 301-400, similar to last year. Followed by educational institutions such as Vietnam National University Hanoi, Duy Tan University, Ton Duc Thang University, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City.
Duy Tan University and Ton Duc Thang University are also Vietnamese universities with the highest rankings in many fields such as Life Sciences, Physics, Social Sciences...
In the field of Educational Research, Vietnam National University, Hanoi ranked in group 501-600; Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City, Hue University, are also in group 601-800.
This year, 2 more Vietnamese universities are included in the world university rankings by field, including Da Nang University and Nguyen Tat Thanh University. In which, Nguyen Tat Thanh University has a high ranking in fields such as Health and Health (501-600), Life Sciences (601-800).
