On December 16, a representative of the Board of Directors of Pho Chau Town Kindergarten said that the school had sent a report to the Department of Education and Training about a child being bitten by many stings.
On the evening of December 15, school representatives went to the parents' house to express their sympathy for the unexpected incident. The school also held a meeting to review the teacher for allowing unsafe conditions for children in class.
Previously, Ms. P.T.C (born in 1999, residing in Huong Son, Ha Tinh province) posted a photo on social media reflecting that her daughter, L.N.T.N (over 2 years old), studying at Pho Chau Town Kindergarten, had many bites, bruises and scratches on her body when she returned from school.
According to Ms. C, at around 3:00 p.m. on December 10, her biological mother came to school to pick her up from school and take her home. While bathing her child, she discovered many bites, bruises and scratches on her arms and face.
According to Ms. C, the teacher in charge of the class did not previously announce the incident; the parent Zalo group of the class also did not have any related information. Only when the family proactively contacted, did the responsible teacher text the class group with the content that was considered irresponsible.
After the incident, Ms. C suggested that the school re-view the surveillance camera to grasp the developments. However, when they arrived at school, the family was informed that the camera system had lost data for many days, so they could not extract the image.
On the morning of December 16, Ms. C worked with the school, with the participation of a camera inspector. The results determined that the camera at the class had a technical error and did not have to have data deleted.
