From the time the task began until the end of the working period, officers and soldiers of Brigade 368 were present in Quy Nhon Dong ward and Tuy Phuoc Tay commune to conduct relief work, helping people clean up and overcome the consequences of natural disasters.
In Quy Nhon Dong ward, the Brigade's forces mobilized 760 workers and 820 mobile vehicles to clean 3 schools, clean houses for 358 households, disinfect and clean more than 44 km of traffic roads. Military medical staff organized examinations and distributed free medicine to over 400 people. The Brigade also transported 120 tons of relief rice, supported 70 households to stabilize their housing and gave gifts to disadvantaged families. At the same time, forces participated in dredging more than 2 km of silted canals, ensuring the flow was cleared.
In Tuy Phuoc Tay commune, the Brigade mobilized 700 workers to coordinate with Tan Thanh Long Company Limited to clean up and transport more than 200 tons of flooded goods, clean up the warehouse and organize disinfection of the entire area. The Brigade also supported ECO Tech Technology Co., Ltd. at Tuy Phuoc Tay Industrial Cluster in clearing warehouses, transporting equipment and goods. The total cleaning area reached more than 5,000 m2 with a cleaning volume of over 300 tons of goods.
Up to now, Brigade 368 has mobilized a total of 1,400 workers and 1,390 mobile vehicles to carry out support tasks. The entire force has fulfilled the requirements, ensured absolute safety, and has been recognized by the local Party Committee and People, highly appreciating the sense of responsibility and enthusiasm for helping the people.
The efforts of Brigade 368 have contributed significantly to helping Gia Lai people soon overcome the consequences of floods, restore their lives and production. This activity continues to affirm the core role of the armed forces of Military Region 5 in the task of rescue, relief and supporting people in the face of non-traditional security challenges.
