Many universities have announced their enrollment plans for 2025. In particular, many schools still consider admission based on high school transcripts.
For example, the Academy of Journalism and Communication plans to reserve 20% of its quota for considering academic records, an increase of 5% compared to 2024.
At Ho Chi Minh City National University, there will be 15% of the quota for direct admission, in which the university prioritizes admission of students from 149 high schools based on transcript scores (the list of schools is updated annually).
At the University of Commerce, in 2025, the school will abandon the consideration of studying in three subjects, only considering combining two subjects with foreign language certificates and applying them to some international-oriented majors.
Similarly, Hanoi University of Science and Technology also abandoned independent academic records. Instead, the school considers high school transcripts combined with interviews.
