According to records, up to now, more than 71 universities have announced admission based on high school academic results (academic transcripts).
The Academy of Journalism and Communication plans to reserve 20% of its quota for considering academic records, an increase of 5% compared to 2024. Depending on the major group, the admission score is the average score of 6 semesters plus the average score of Literature, History or English multiplied by a coefficient of two.
The Vietnam Women's Academy does not consider high school transcripts for cases graduating before 2025. To be admitted by this method, candidates must have a good conduct test and have a total average score of 3 subjects of the entire year of grade 10, 11 and grade 12 in the admission registration combination of the academy (expected) of 19 points or higher (excluding priority points).
For the Information Technology major, the average score for the general Math subject in the admission combinations must be greater than 7 points.
At Ho Chi Minh City National University, there will be 15% of the quota for direct admission, in which the university prioritizes admission of students from 149 high schools based on transcript scores (the list of schools is updated annually).
Hanoi University of Science and Technology considers high school transcripts combined with interviews. Admission subjects include candidates with an average score of 3 out of 6 subjects: Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, IT, English (including the entire 11th and 12th grade school years) in accordance with one of the admission subject combinations of the training program of 8.8/10 or higher. In the pharmacy industry, in addition to the above requirements, candidates need to have an IELTS English certificate of 5.0 or TOEFL iBT of 35 points or higher.
