On July 17, the Department of Education and Training and specialized high schools and public high schools will meet to approve additional admission scores to public grade 10 (if any). From July 19-22, schools will organize admission confirmation and receive additional admission applications (if any).
This year's 10th grade entrance exam in Hanoi took place near June. Nearly 103,000 Hanoi students have completed the exam in three subjects: Math, Literature and Foreign Language (mainly English), taking the score for admission to the 10th grade of non-professional public schools.
This is the first year that students have taken the exam under the new General Education Program, so the content and structure of the exam have changed a lot. In particular, the way of calculating admission scores has also changed.
This year's admission score is a total of three subjects without coefficients (maximum 30), instead of doubling the Literature and Math subjects like previous years.
Last year, the valedictorian of Hanoi's 10th grade was Nguyen Hoang Minh Quan, Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, with 48.5/50 points (DUBLIT, Foreign Language).
