Series of new regulations in education to be applied from September 2026
From September 1, 2026, according to Circular 59/2026/TT-BGDĐT, retired teachers can continue to teach under contracts and on visiting lectures.
The signing of the contract must ensure the principles of voluntariness, equality, publicity, and transparency; be consistent with the development needs of the education institution's staff and not affect the recruitment and training plan for successor staff.
According to Clause 1, Article 5 of Decision 38/2026/QD-TTg, education programs in the national education system are divided into 9 levels from level 0 to level 8.
Level 0: Preschool education program.
Level 1: Primary education program and literacy program for people who have not completed primary education. See details here...
