On September 8, Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee said that it had directed the Department of Education and Training (GDĐT) to coordinate with units and commune-level People's Committees to review all educational institutions; inspect the implementation of policies to support food, accommodation, tuition fees, rice and other policies for students according to the regulations of the Central Government and localities.

This is to ensure that policies reach the right beneficiaries in a timely manner, without allowing the situation of overpayment, wrong beneficiaries or negative developments to occur.

At the same time, requesting the Department of Education and Training to promptly advise the Provincial People's Committee to report to the Ministry of Education and Training to study and amend and supplement policies if necessary, ensuring they are suitable to the actual conditions of terrain, distance and traffic in the province.

People's Committees of communes and wards must strengthen state management of education, proactively review and grasp the list of students from poor and near-poor households, vulnerable groups, orphans and students in particularly difficult circumstances to have support plans before and during the 2026-2027 school year.
