Nghe An announces 5 groups of subjects to be admitted directly to grade 10
Nghe An Department of Education and Training has just issued an entrance guide for grade 10 high school in the 2025-2026 school year with many new points on direct admission, adding priority points and incentives. Accordingly, 5 groups of students will be admitted directly to grade 10, including: boarding ethnic students, 16 ethnic groups with very few people, students with disabilities, students who won national and international prizes in cultural, artistic, sports and scientific research competitions.

In addition, students who are children of martyrs, war invalids, people affected by toxic chemicals or children of armed forces heroes will be awarded from 1.5 to 2 points. Students who are ethnic minorities, or have a father/mother who is an ethnic minority, or are living in a particularly difficult socio-economic area are given an additional priority point.
For the first time, Nghe An applied the bonus points for students who won prizes in provincial-level excellent student competitions: First prize increased by 1.5 points, Second prize increased by 1 point, Third prize increased by 0.5 points. The bonus points are converted to a scale of 10 and added to the total admission score, applied according to Circular 30/2024/TT-BGDDT to encourage and recognize the efforts of students and teachers. AI is included in the World Office Championship - Viettel 2025
On April 20, 2025, the opening ceremony of the World Office Informatics Contest - Viettel 2025 (MOS World Championship - Viettel 2025) took place with the participation of nearly 2,000 candidates from 230 teams nationwide. Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary of the Central Executive Committee, emphasized the importance of improving the digital capacity for young people in the digital transformation period, and considers the competition as an opportunity for young people to practice skills and nurture the aspiration of dedication.
Ms. Doan Nguyen Van Khanh, Deputy General Director of IIG Vietnam, said that the contest has recorded remarkable development in scale and quality, especially at the high school level, thanks to investment from schools across the country, including remote areas. MOS World Championship is a prestigious international playground for students aged 13-22 years old, organized by Certiport Group (USA) since 2002.
