Teacher bonus level
Clause 1, Article 54 of Decree 152/2025/ND-CP stipulates the bonus levels for Certificates of Merit, Certificates of Merit, and Medals as follows: The bonus levels for Certificates of Merit, Certificates of Merit, and Medals are as follows:
For individuals
Individuals who are awarded or posthumously awarded the "Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit" are awarded a Certificate, a framework and are rewarded 3.5 times the basic salary;
Individuals who are awarded or posthumously awarded Certificates of Merit by ministries, departments, branches, and provinces are awarded Certificates and frames and are awarded 1.5 times the basic salary;
Individuals awarded Commemorative Medals by the National Assembly Standing Committee are awarded Certificates, frames, Commemorative Medals, Commemorative Medal containers and accompanied by a bonus of no more than 0.8 times the basic salary;
Individuals awarded Commemorative Medals of ministries, departments, branches, provinces, political organizations, socio-political organizations, socio-professional organizations, social organizations, socio-professional organizations with party organizations under the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, central organizations awarded Certificates, frames, Commemorative Medals, Commemorative Medal boxes and accompanied by bonuses not exceeding 0.6 times the basic salary;
Individuals awarded Certificates of Merit of military regions, military companies, military branches, general departments and equivalents under the Ministry of National Defense, Government Cipher Committee; Certificates of Merit of National University awarded Certificates, frames and accompanied by a bonus of 1 time the basic salary;
Individuals awarded a Certificate of Merit as prescribed in Points a, b, c and Point d, Clause 1, Article 75 of the Law on Emulation and Commendation shall be awarded a Certificate, a framework and a bonus of 0.3 times the basic salary.
Thus, for individuals who are awarded a certificate of merit by the Prime Minister, they will receive a bonus of 3.5 times the basic salary.
Currently, the basic salary is being applied according to Clause 2, Article 3 of Decree 73/2024/ND-CP with a basic salary of VND 2,340,000/month.
Bonus for individual teachers = (3.5 x 2,340,000) = 8,190,000 VND.
Applying the basic salary according to Clause 3, Article 3 of Decree 73/2024/ND-CP, for individuals teachers awarded certificates of merit by the Prime Minister, they will receive a bonus of VND 8,190,000.
What support policies are there for the teaching staff?
Clause 1, Article 24 of the Law on Teachers stipulates the policy of supporting teachers as follows:
Subsidy regime according to the nature of work, by region;
Support training and fostering;
Support periodic health care, occupational health care; Mobile allowances for teachers working in illiteracy eradication, popularization of education, secondment, enhanced teaching, inter-school teaching, teaching at schools;
Other support policies for teachers according to the provisions of the law on civil servants, the law on labor and other relevant legal provisions.
