The series of events "Green school roofs" are creating a vibrant atmosphere in high schools across the country, bringing a lot of useful knowledge, arousing awareness of environmental protection, spreading the spirit of green living to students.

Lighting up environmental protection awareness from school age

Teacher Nguyen Thu Thuy (a high school teacher in Hanoi) shared her joy when learning about the "Green School" program being held at dozens of high schools nationwide, with the goal of "greening" 1,000 schools in the coming time. In addition to knowledge about traffic safety, students will be exposed directly to green means of transport to better understand the meaning of joining hands to protect the environment.

According to teacher Thuy's observations, she has never seen environmental issues that students are interested in as much as they are now. In extracurricular lessons, the environment is also a hot topic that students choose for themselves.

My students are all looking forward to this event being held at the school, so that they have the opportunity to exchange, exchange, receive more knowledge and experience green vehicles. I think this is a good opportunity to educate children to change their awareness of environmental protection" - Ms. Thuy shared.

The journey of "Covering Green Schools" with the mission of sowing green awareness for high school students is achieving impressive results in just a short time: 32 events in 16 provinces and cities, about 48,000 students have been trained on safe driving, nearly 14,500 students have experienced electric motorbikes, 1.6 billion VND in scholarships have been awarded to excellent and excellent students...

At events held at schools, students were excited about the opportunity to receive training on traffic safety, experience green, safe, and student-friendly electric motorbike products. Schools and teachers all believe that this is a very necessary program, not only helping students raise awareness of traffic safety, but also better understand the meaning of electric vehicles in bringing a green future to everyone.

Sharing the joy of welcoming young people, many teachers believe that environmental protection does not stop at words, but requires a real change from awareness to action, especially in the younger generation - those who will shape the future of the country.

Practice programs such as School Green roof not only help students access electric vehicles but also encourage an environmentally friendly lifestyle. If they can build a green awareness from now on, and later when they grow up, they will make more correct decisions, contributing to the sustainable development of society, said a 12th grade teacher in Hanoi.

Contributing to building a foundation for environmental awareness in the future

Not only educating about awareness, the special event series also helps students choose the right green vehicle.

I used to not pay much attention to using gasoline or electric vehicles, but now, I understand that electric vehicles are not only environmentally friendly, helping to protect the air but also a practical way to spread green lifestyle to the community - N.V.C, a student at Co Loa High School (Dong Anh District, Hanoi) shared when attending the School Green roof event held here in early March.

C said he has learned a lot and learned a lot about environmentally friendly products, clean energy and positive changes to the environment, so he will definitely choose an environmentally friendly car.

According to Associate Professor. Dr. Dam Hoang Phuc, Director of the Automotive Engineering training program - Hanoi University of Science and Technology, the transition to vehicles using clean energy, especially electric vehicles, is an inevitable trend in the transportation industry.

Mr. Phuc emphasized: "electrified vehicles not only help reduce greenhouse gas emissions but also promote technological advances".

Electric vehicles are gradually becoming a popular solution and will certainly replace vehicles using traditional internal combustion engines. Using pure electric vehicles without direct emissions helps reduce air pollution effectively.

For young people, early propaganda to them about prioritizing the use of clean energy means of transport will contribute to building a foundation for their awareness of environmental protection in the future.

In 2025, the "Green roof of schools" journey will continue to spread to 1,000 schools nationwide. In particular, at the schools organizing the event, VinFast will award 21 scholarships with a total value of 50 million VND/school to excellent and excellent students.
