Tuition support for private primary school students in 121 wards and communes

HCMC - Primary school students at private schools in areas without enough public schools will receive tuition support of 30,000 - 60,000 VND per month.

On October 11, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City issued a document guiding the implementation of tuition support for primary school students in private educational institutions in areas without enough public schools in the city from the 2024-2025 school year.

Accordingly, students in wards, communes and towns lacking public schools in Thu Duc City and districts (urban areas) will receive a monthly support of VND60,000. In the five districts of Binh Chanh, Hoc Mon, Cu Chi, Nha Be and Can Gio (rural areas), the support level is VND30,000 per month.

According to the published list, Ho Chi Minh City has 121 wards, communes and towns identified as areas without enough public primary schools for the 2024-2025 school year.
