“Vietnamese Soul through the lens of youth 2025” is a photography contest co-organized by the Vietnam Vision Education Organization (Vinsights), NextGen Social Impact Project (NSI) and the Photography Club of Hanoi National University of Education High School for the Gifted.
Speaking at the program, Dr. Truong Thi Hoa - Representative of Tam Nhin Viet Education Organization - Vietinsight said that with the theme "Salaries - the most beautiful time", the contest is not just an art playground but a dream, a passion, and a story initiated by students themselves - a young generation who dare to think, dare to do, and dare to take responsibility for what they believe is meaningful.
When the program started its journey from the first ideas, we - adults - saw in them not only a passion for photography, but also a very beautiful aspiration: A desire to spread love for the homeland and cherish life through the simplest things" - Ms. Hoa said.
Ms. Tran Thi Hai Yen, Principal of Tran Phu High School - Hoan Kiem (Hanoi) expressed that the contest is not only about creating a stage to honor art, but more importantly, it has helped students cultivate observational ability, aesthetic emotions and empathy for the surrounding life, very precious things that textbooks in class cannot bring completely.
According to Ms. Yen, what makes schools especially appreciate is that this activity does not stop after the final round. The organizing committee has continued to design a training course on photography and communication, with the companionship of reputable photographers and experts, specifically for students at communication clubs.
This is not only an opportunity to experience the profession but also helps them practice skills and support communication work in the school environment itself. That is the value of going into reality, touching the future of education that we cherish very much" - Ms. Yen shared.
Launched in October 2025, to date, the Organizing Committee of Hon Viet 2025 has received a lot of attention from students.
At the end of the Final Round, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 First Prize, 1 Second Prize, 1 Third Prize, 2 Consolation Prizes and 5 Promising Prizes. The work "Life through the lens" by the Shutterist group (group of 2 students from Nguyen Thi Minh Khai High School, Hanoi) surpassed 9 teams to win the First Prize of the competition.
