On September 4, the Department of Education and Training of Lam Dong province said that in the 2025 - 2026 school year, more than 1,000 students from the two old provinces (Dak Nong and Binh Thuan) will follow their parents to the provincial center to study.
After the merger, the entire Lam Dong education sector has 1,605 educational and training institutions.
Of which, there are 527 preschools, 564 primary schools, 365 secondary schools, 149 high schools, vocational education - continuing education centers and other types.
The total number of students is 845,200 at all levels. The total number of civil servants and employees in the whole industry is over 49,950 people.
In order to facilitate parents and students, the Department of Education and Training reviewed the school system near provincial administrative agencies to arrange for students to conveniently study and pick up and drop off.
On the eve of the new school year, the reception of students has been quite smooth and complete, demonstrating the concern and responsibility of all levels and sectors.
To prepare for the new school year, schools in the province have urgently prepared facilities and decorated classrooms.
At Nguyen Du Secondary School, Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat, preparations for the new school year as well as the opening ceremony have been basically completed. This is a school with a large number of students in the province with 3,400 students. The whole school has 68 classes including: each grade 6 and 7 has 17 classes, 19 grades 8 and 15 grades 9.
On the morning of September 3, the school organized a program to welcome 6th graders with 850 students. They were welcomed by the Board of Directors and teachers, joining the Nguyen Du Secondary School roof.
Schools in Lam Dong province have also basically prepared for the opening ceremony of the new school year tomorrow (September 5).
