On February 17, information from the Department of Education and Training of Hai Phong City, immediately after Circular 29/2024/TT-BGDDT of the Ministry of Education and Training was issued, the Department of Education and Training of Hai Phong thoroughly grasped the regulations on extra teaching and learning according to Circular 29 through a system of documents and conferences to disseminate and provide guidance. Thereby, raising awareness of the entire industry, creating unity in organizing and implementing the regulations on extra teaching and learning.
The Department of Education and Training actively implements steps to advise the City People's Committee to issue Regulations on extra teaching and learning in Hai Phong City. At the same time, directing general education institutions to strictly implement regulations on extra teaching and learning.
Before and after Circular 29 takes effect, the Department of Education and Training will establish inspection teams to inspect the implementation of regulations on extra teaching and learning at educational institutions in the city. On February 14, 3 inspection teams of the Department conducted a surprise inspection of the implementation situation in Kien An, Hong Bang, An Duong districts and Kien Thuy district.
Initial results show that the Departments of Education and Training and schools strictly implement the regulations on extra teaching and learning. In particular, doing a good job of propaganda with teachers, students, and parents creates high understanding and consensus. Schools have conducted a review of students who need to take extra classes in school (belonging to the groups of subjects mentioned in Circular 29). Then, based on the specific situation to develop appropriate plans and implementation plans.
With extra teaching outside of school, according to the reports of school principals being inspected, the number of teachers participating in extra teaching outside of school is very small.
In the coming time, the Department of Education and Training will continue to strictly implement the regulations on extra classes according to Circular 29, building a civilized learning environment, meeting the requirements of comprehensive and quality education.
