Worried about school after flood, damaged schools and all the books are gone!

After the flood receded, many schools and hospitals were flooded with mud, Gia Lai police focused on supporting the cleaning of these facilities.

On November 24, the Ministry of Public Security provided the Gia Lai Provincial Police with 260 officers and soldiers to carry out the task of overcoming the consequences of floods in areas that suffered heavy damage.

The officers and soldiers were reinforced from the Ho Chi Minh City Police, Tay Ninh Provincial Police and the People's Police University.

The soldiers prioritized cleaning the school environment and health centers to meet the needs of teaching and health care for the people.

Immediately after the flood, children had to return to school soon, so cleaning schools was a priority. Not only in Gia Lai, but many other localities also have to focus on this matter.

Floods have damaged the facilities of many schools, so it is necessary to repair and replenish tables, chairs, and school supplies in a timely manner to serve teaching and learning. To extend the time, it will affect the curriculum of the entire course.

In addition to cleaning the school, another important thing is to support books and notebooks for students.

In many flooded localities, most of the children's books were washed away or damaged, no longer usable. When they returned to school, many students had no books to study.

Many families left empty-handed after the flood, and their children will also go to school empty-handed.

Therefore, the education sector and local authorities need to have statistics and implement plans to repair schools and support students.

In addition to food, provisions, and supplies, people in flooded areas are in great need of books and learning tools for their children to continue going to school. Therefore, philanthropists join hands to help children in poor families not to "break meals" and not to "break words".

As for textbooks, perhaps at this time they really need to be free, but how will it depend on the capacity of local leaders.

From statistics on the status of textbooks for students at all levels in the area, local authorities have a plan to provide books to students. For children with difficult family circumstances, it can be completely free.

In addition, from the funding sources of businesses, a part can be allocated to buy books and provide them for free to students of all levels.

In any case, there must be enough textbooks for the children to study. Especially, as the first semester exam is approaching.
