On the afternoon of July 7, Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee held a direct meeting combined with online meetings with a number of departments, branches and communes on preparing conditions for inter-level boarding primary and secondary schools (TH, THCS) to operate from the 2026 - 2027 school year.
According to a report by the Department of Education and Training, the province has 6 inter-level boarding schools for primary and secondary school students expected to be put into operation from the 2026 - 2027 school year in the communes of: Thanh Thuy, Minh Tan, Pa Vay Su, Pho Bang, Son Vi, Xin Man.

The Department has completed and submitted to the Provincial People's Committee for approval the Plan for arranging and assigning the number of employees and labor contracts for schools.
The total number of proposed employees is 435 people, including 34 leaders and managers (6 Principals, 28 Vice Principals); 366 teachers (139 primary school students, 227 secondary school students), and the rest are staff.
Through summary, in 6 schools, there is currently a surplus of 23 primary school teachers and a shortage of 60 secondary school teachers.
The Department has also had a plan to arrange and arrange the number of teachers who are lacking and redundant at schools. At the same time, issued decisions approving the enrollment results of 6 schools reaching 99% with a total of 201 classes, and a total expected student number of 6,944 students.
Regarding the construction progress, according to the Project Management Board for Construction Investment of Tuyen Quang province, 2 schools in Minh Tan and Thanh Thuy communes will complete all construction items to fully operate before August 30.
For the remaining 4 schools, the investor will complete the main items before August 30 to ensure that the schools open at the beginning of the new school year and go into operation.

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee Phan Huy Ngoc requested that for 2 schools in Minh Tan and Thanh Thuy communes that are capable of completing the items before August 30, the investor and construction contractor urgently hand over the project to the equipment installation unit and local authorities immediately after completion.
For the 4 schools whose progress is not guaranteed, the investor and the construction contractor need to coordinate with the communes to have plans to arrange additional human resources to accelerate the progress. Efforts in October 2026 to ensure that all items are completed, and students and teachers can return to stay and study centrally and fully at the school.
In addition to the above 6 projects, Tuyen Quang is also carrying out investment procedures for 11 inter-level boarding schools, phase 2 in the communes: Ban May, Thang Tin, Lao Chai, Tung Vai, Nghia Thuan, Can Ty, Bach Dich, Thang Mo, Sa Phin, Lung Cu and Dong Van.
Currently, 10/11 projects have submitted feasibility study reports for appraisal, of which the Dong Van School project has been approved by the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province.
