According to the announcement on June 1, 2026 of the High School for Gifted Students in Science (University of Science - Vietnam National University, Hanoi) on the results of the 10th grade entrance exam, Giang Vo Secondary School recorded that class 9A2 had 20 students admitted with 21 specialized entrance exams (some students passed 2 specialized exams).
Ms. Hai Yen assessed that this is a prominent mark in the results of the school's students right in the early days of this year's enrollment season.
According to statistics, class 9A2 has 25 students registered to take the exam for specialized classes in Mathematics, Informatics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology of the High School for Gifted Students in Natural Sciences.
As a result, 20 students were admitted (accounting for 80% of the total number of students participating in the exam). Among them, Tran Bao Nam excellently passed two specialized classes, specialized in Mathematics and specialized in Physics, Nguyen Minh Khang achieved 26 points (specialized in Chemistry). In particular, there are 5 students taking the Chemistry exam who achieved 25 points or more (admission score 20.25 points).
Ms. Hai Yen added that class 9A2 is the class with the most students winning the First Prize at the City-level Excellent Student Competition in cultural subjects in the 2025-2026 school year with 6 out of a total of 8 First Prizes of the whole school.
Besides the success of class 9A2, Giang Vo Secondary School also recorded more students passing the Natural Sciences Specialized High School entrance exam from classes 9A3, 9A5, 9A7 and 9P.
