Hai Phong - Due to the impact of storm No. 4, some schools in the city have adjusted or temporarily postponed the school start schedule for the 2026-2027 school year.

Due to the impact of storm No. 4, some schools in Hai Phong city have announced adjustments and temporary postponements of the school start schedule for the 2026-2027 school year to ensure student safety.

Ai Quoc Elementary School, Ai Quoc ward announced a change in the school start schedule due to the impact of rainy and storm weather. Accordingly, grade 1 students will start school on Wednesday morning, August 26; grades 2, 3, 4 and 5 students will start school on Friday morning, August 28.

At Ha Dong High School, Ha Dong commune, the school plans to organize the 12th grade school opening ceremony on August 24 and the 10th and 11th grades on August 28. However, due to the rainy and storm weather, along with the school's construction and completion of some facilities, travel conditions and student gathering organization are currently not guaranteed to be safe.

Therefore, Ha Dong High School decided to temporarily postpone the school start schedule for grades until there is a new notice. The school requests parents and students not to come to school according to the old schedule, and at the same time regularly follow official information channels to update the new school start schedule.

At Minh Duc Primary School, Tu Ky commune, the school opening schedule for 1st grade students has also been adjusted due to the complicated developments of storms and floods in the area. Instead of starting school on the morning of August 24 as previously scheduled, 1st grade students will gather at 7:30 am on Friday, August 28, with the whole school.

The new school start schedule is applied at the main school in Quan village, Quang Khai branch in Nhu Tinh village and the school point belonging to the main school in Minh Huong village.

Meanwhile, Mac Thi Buoi Elementary School, Hop Tien commune, adjusted the school start schedule for grade 1 students. Students will gather from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM on August 26. Students of grades 2, 3, 4 and 5 will still follow the old schedule, from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM on August 28.

The adjustment of the school start schedule is implemented by schools in the context of complicated storms and floods, in order to ensure safety for students, parents and officials and teachers during school visits.
