On November 18, information from the Nghe An Department of Education and Training said that it had just issued a notice of recruitment for 829 teachers and staff at preschool, primary and secondary levels in the first recruitment round of the 2025-2026 school year.
According to the plan, the Department will recruit 780 teachers: 198 for preschool level, 249 for primary level and 284 for secondary level.
At the primary level, the recruitment positions include 134 cultural teachers, 74 English teachers, 20 IT teachers, 12 physical education teachers, 6 music teachers and 3 fine arts teachers.
At the secondary school level, the Department recruited 39 Math teachers; 37 Literature; 53 Natural Sciences (20 Physics, 17 Chemistry, 16 Biology); 30 History & Geography (17 History, 13 Geography); 8 Citizen Education; 4 Technology; 50 English; 29 IT; 14 Physical Education; 12 Music and 8 Fine Arts.
In particular, this period recruited 49 school staff, including: 18 intermediate accountants, 8 clerical staff, 7 Grade IV libraries, 8 laboratory equipment, 6 school health stations and 2 teaching positions.
This is the first time that the recruitment of preschool, primary and secondary school teachers has been directly assigned to the Department of Education and Training.
Candidates must have full degrees and certificates according to their positions, be healthy and not be banned from applying. The recruitment exam is organized in the form of 2 rounds of admission, in which round 2 of professional Q&A questions is calculated on a scale of 100. Candidates with 50 points or more and a higher total score will be admitted. Priority people will be given points according to regulations, up to a maximum of one priority level.
According to the Department of Education and Training, although the recruitment demand of schools is quite large, this time only recruited more than 800 out of more than 1,000 targets assigned by the Central Government, to ensure the salary fund and meet the requirements of staff streamlining expected to be applied from January 1, 2026.
It is expected that the first round of admission will be completed before January 20, 2026.
