The Politburo signed and issued Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in education and training development.
Resolution No. 71 clearly states: Have special and outstanding incentive policies for the teaching staff; increase vocational incentives for preschool and general education institutions to a minimum of 70% for teachers, a minimum of 30% for employees, 100% for teachers in areas with special difficulties, border areas, islands, and ethnic minority areas.
Unable to hide her joy after receiving this information, Ms. Cao Thi Van - Principal of Quang Minh Kindergarten (Van Ha Ward, Bac Ninh Province) shared:
"I still remember the hard time, the salary of teachers is calculated in rice. Resolution 71 shows that the hardships and disadvantages of preschool education have been understood, cared for and provided timely support in terms of treatment policies by Party and State leaders" - Ms. Van said.

According to Ms. Van, after many years of dedication, the preschool teachers have always been dedicated to their profession, but the treatment is still not commensurate with the nature of the work.
"In the near future, the State will increase the vocational allowance for preschool and general education institutions to a minimum of 70% for teachers and a minimum of 30% for employees. This is like a breath of fresh air, creating an atmosphere, motivation, and determination to her profession" - Ms. Van expressed.
Ms. Mai Anh Nguyet - a teacher at Nguyen Cong Tru Secondary School (Ba Dinh, Hanoi) also expressed her joy and said that Resolution 71 has set out many important policies, demonstrating the Party and State's concern for the education sector.
For the teaching staff, knowing about the special and outstanding incentive policies for the teaching staff; raising vocational incentives for preschool and general education institutions is good news for millions of teachers across the country.
"We hope that Resolution 71 will be quickly implemented so that teachers and school staff are more excited and motivated to continue working" - Ms. Nguyet expressed.
From practical work, Mr. Nguyen Khac Hop - Principal of Dai Mo 3 Primary School (Tay Mo, Hanoi) commented that Resolution 71 mentions a number of strategic contents for the development of education and training until 2045, including the content of raising allowances for teachers and increasing spending on education.
From the perspective of grassroots management, Mr. Hop said that Resolution 71 has resolved and relieved the long-standing problem of "money-making" for teachers. This is also always a concern for education managers like Mr. Hop.
Therefore, the Principal of Dai Mo 3 Primary School expressed his belief that when Resolution 71 is applied, teachers will work with peace of mind, be dedicated to their profession.
In addition to the issue of allowances and treatment regimes for teachers, Resolution 71 requires promoting decentralization and delegation of authority associated with resource allocation, enhancing autonomy and self-responsibility of educational institutions associated with effective inspection and supervision, which the Resolution also has great significance. Increasing the budget for education will help schools be autonomous in purchasing and investing in modern teaching equipment.
Mr. Nguyen Khac Hop said that the time the Politburo issued Resolution 71 was very timely, creating a premise and launching pad for teachers to create the future generation - the owners of the country in the era of national growth.
"When properly invested, the quality of comprehensive education is therefore gradually improved" - Principal of Dai Mo 3 Primary School emphasized.
