Nguyen Hoang Hong Phung is a student majoring in Industrial Management - University of Technology (Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City).
Phung has just received a graduation certificate with an absolute average accumulation score (GPA) of 4.0.
Phung said that since high school, he has been interested in the field of Industrial Management - a place where the thinking system is intersecting between economy and engineering, directly related to business operations.
After that, he was oriented by his family and teachers to try his hand at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, and after studying the training program, Phung decided to study this major.
To achieve a GPA of 4.0, Phung said that being proactive in learning is a prerequisite.
Phung shared that he always reads the document in advance when going to class and exchanges directly with lecturers and friends when facing difficulties, while proactively arranging a schedule for studying and daily work.
"I often prioritize handling tasks with deadlines close to before, while flexibly allocating time to work that can be adjusted. This time management method helps me avoid overload and maintain learning efficiency," Phung said.
During her studies, Phung shared that she always sets many standards for herself and this is also what makes the female student feel most pressured. "There was a time when I felt overloaded and thought about asking for a year's reserve to regain my balance," Phung confided.
But then, thanks to encouragement from family, friends and inspiration from a lecturer who had failed the phan tich exam but persistently returned to study, she overcame and continued to strive.
"My teacher failed the phan tich mon, had to temporarily stop studying for a year due to pressure, but after a battle with psychology, he returned to school, persevered in overcoming difficulties and eventually became a lecturer at the same school that he struggled to overcome. It is thanks to those that I have gradually regained my motivation to study and continue to persevere with my goals," Phung recalled.
In addition to academics, Hong Phung accumulates practical skills through subjects, group projects, presentations and theme protection.
According to Phung, her family, teachers and friends always accompany and support her during the most difficult times as the greatest source of inspiration and encouragement for her to achieve her current outstanding results.
In the near future, Hong Phung plans to study abroad, while preparing her application, the female student said she will learn more experience in the customer service field to expand practical knowledge and develop skills, serving future orientation.
