On November 3, information from the People's Committee of Vinh Phu Ward (Nghe An) said that the unit had held a meeting to discuss the plan to put Nghi An Secondary School, campus 2 (a project worth over VND23 billion, completed for more than a year but not yet in use) into operation, to serve the 2025 - 2026 school year.
The meeting was chaired by Mr. Vo Khac Hung - Vice Chairman of Vinh Phu Ward People's Committee, aiming to find solutions to effectively use the second facility. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Department of Culture - Society, the Department of Economics, Infrastructure and Urban Areas and the Board of Directors of Nghi An Secondary School.

After a field survey, listening to the reports of the Board of Directors and the opinions of departments, Mr. Vo Khac Hung agreed on the plan to organize parallel teaching at both facilities in the immediate future. Accordingly, Facility 1 will continue to teach the main subjects, while Facility 2 will be used to organize teaching of gift-aking subjects such as music, fine arts, physical education, enhanced English and culinary learning.
The People's Committee of the ward assigned Nghi An Secondary School to review facilities and make the most of existing equipment; the Department of Culture - Society coordinated with the Department of Economics, Infrastructure and Urban Areas to appraise teaching plans; at the same time, advise on allocating funds to renovate the access road to the school and add necessary equipment. These tasks must be completed before November 20, 2025.

The representative of Vinh Phu Ward People's Committee affirmed that they will continue to strongly direct and mobilize the participation of specialized departments, in order to soon put the facilities of Nghi An Secondary School into use, avoid waste after investment and meet the teaching needs in the area.
Previously, as reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, Nghi An Secondary School, Facility 2, was invested with more than 23 billion VND, started in 2023 and completed in October 2024. Although more than a year has passed, the new school with a 3-storey building and 18 classrooms is still locked, located in the middle of a field, with a narrow access road and frequent water stagnation. The new facility does not have a headquarters, departmental classrooms, playgrounds, practice areas and still lacks many teaching equipment.
