The 2025-2026 school year is the first school year of Quang Ngai province after merging with the old Kon Tum province, with a larger scale and many important innovations. This is also the year the provincial education sector implemented Resolution 71 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development, creating a foundation for education to become a driving force for national development.
On the eve of the new school year, the education sector has carefully prepared facilities, human resources and support policies. The whole province currently has 923 educational institutions with nearly 445,000 students. The Department of Education and Training has proposed to build and renovate 5 schools in the border area, with a total cost of more than 770 billion VND. Including 2 key projects are the Inter-level Boarding School in Duc Nong commune and Mo Rai commune. Along with that, the Project on developing the teaching staff for the 2026-2030 period is also being developed to overcome the local shortage of teachers.

In many disadvantaged areas such as Ro Koi commune, students here are supported by the State with accommodation and study costs. Thanks to the cooperation of teachers and local authorities... the rate of mobilizing 6-year-old children to class has reached 100%.
The 2025-2026 school year also marks many new policies such as exempting tuition fees for high school students, expanding preschool access for children aged 3-5 years, and strengthening decentralization of management to improve the quality of the teaching staff.
The Quang Ngai education sector also promotes the application of digital technology, deploys electronic academic records, electronic teacher records, and gradually applies artificial intelligence in teaching and management.
Mr. Dang Minh Hung - Principal of Truong Quang Trong Secondary School, Truong Quang Trong Ward said that in the new school year 2025-2026, the school will receive spacious teaching and learning facilities. The school has fully prepared all conditions for the new school year to take place smoothly.
