On October 17, the Gia Lai Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board submitted Document No. 32/TTr-BQLDA on the investment policy for the project of Inter-level Primary and Secondary Boarding Schools in 7 border communes in the area.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to urgently appraise and agree on project investment proposals; report and advise the province before October 15, 2025.
The Provincial People's Committee also received Official Letter No. 4089/BD-KHKD dated October 13 from the 15th Corps on coordination and acceleration of the construction progress of the Inter-level Primary and Secondary Boarding School project in 7 border communes in the West of Gia Lai province.
The province assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to guide the People's Committees of border communes to coordinate with units under Army Corps 15 to carry out land acquisition and compensation for assets on the land according to regulations, ensuring completion before November 15, 2025.
Legal procedures and site clearance related to investment projects are being accelerated, and it is expected that a groundbreaking ceremony will be held at the end of 2025.
Regarding the construction of schools in border areas, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested ministries, branches and People's Committees of provinces to identify this as a campaign that needs to be implemented drastically and urgently, determined to complete the construction of 100 schools in 2025 and complete before August 30, 2026.
In October 2025, the Gia Lai Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board will consult with the Department of Agriculture and Environment on the list of mineral mines in border areas, thereby developing a suitable selection plan to lower input prices, avoiding the shortage of construction materials that slow down construction progress.
