On the afternoon of October 24, the Inspection Committee of the Kim Ngan Commune Party Committee announced that it had decided to establish an inspection team when there were signs of violations against the Party Cell of Kim Thuy Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities and 2 individuals, Mr. Do Van My, Principal and Ms. Do Thi Hong Hue, Vice Principal.
According to the Inspection Committee of the Commune Party Committee, the inspection focused on the contents related to the boarding kitchen of the school, after some signs of violations appeared in the management and organization of activities.
The inspection team consists of 5 members, led by Mr. Nguyen Xuan Dung - Chairman of the Commune Party Committee's Inspection Committee. The inspection period lasts 60 days, starting from next week.
Regarding the incident, the authorities are seizing many records of the school to serve the investigation. A representative of the Inspection Committee of the Commune Party Committee said that the inspection team will closely coordinate with functional units to ensure proper, objective and comprehensive implementation of regulations.
Previously, as reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, on the morning of September 26, 40 students of Kim Thuy Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities had to be hospitalized for emergency treatment after breakfast due to suspected food poisoning. Test results from the Pasteur Nha Trang Institute showed that 1 of the 4 food samples was positive for Bacillus cereus bacteria, the cause of acute food poisoning.
