On July 22, according to a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, at the construction site of Huong Khe Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary School (in Huong Khe commune), the contractor is focusing maximum manpower on construction.
In which, at 2 rows of classrooms in the 2-story building block, paint has been almost finished, and the installation of doors, air conditioners, and light bulbs is being carried out.
At 3 rows of classrooms in the 3-story building block that has been roughly built, groups of workers are focusing on plastering. At this building block, there is also a part of painters who are proceeding to remove roughness to paint the walls.
In the yard area, many groups of workers are focusing on paving the brick floor. The very urgent construction atmosphere is clearly visible at the construction site.
Mr. Le Khac Tien (51 years old, residing in Huong Khe commune, Ha Tinh province) who is a construction worker at this construction site said that it is hot, so in the morning the brothers start working from 6 am to 10 am to rest, and in the afternoon from 2 pm to 6 pm.
The construction site is under pressure from the final stage of progress, so we have to work continuously," Mr. Tien shared.
As a local resident hired to construct, Mr. Tien is paid 500,000 VND per day by the contractor.
Mr. Le Van Phong - Commander of the construction site of Huong Khe Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary School of Construction Mechanical Engineering Joint Stock Company under Hanoi Construction Corporation said that so far, the 2-story classroom block has been basically completed.
In the 3-story classroom block, the contractor is focusing on plastering, then painting and installing equipment.
According to Mr. Le Van Phong, currently there are about 200 workers gathering at the construction site every day to accelerate the progress of the finishing phase to complete and hand over before August 30th.
The Huong Khe Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary School project is built in Phu Gia village, Huong Khe commune on an area of more than 5 hectares, with a construction cost of about 160 billion VND.
The project started on November 9, 2025, invested by the Ha Tinh Provincial Civil and Infrastructure Construction Investment Project Management Board. According to the progress, the project must be completed and handed over before August 30, 2026.
On July 20, Deputy Prime Minister Le Tien Chau signed Official Dispatch No. 50 on accelerating the progress and completion of the construction of Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary Schools phase 1 nationwide (starting in 2025) to be inaugurated simultaneously on September 5, 2026, and put into operation and use right from the beginning of the new school year 2026-2027.
On July 22, Mr. Pham Anh Hao - Chairman of Son Kim 1 Commune People's Committee (Ha Tinh) said that currently the contractor is focusing on accelerating the construction progress of Son Kim 1 Inter-level Primary - Secondary Boarding School to complete before August 30.
This school was started on November 9, 2025 in Trung village on an area of more than 5 hectares with a scale of 40 classrooms for more than 1,300 students. The construction investment cost is about 140 billion VND.
According to the schedule, this project must also be completed and handed over before August 30, 2026 to be put into use right at the beginning of the new school year 2026-2027.
