On April 8, Hanoi City Police (CATP) organized a conference to summarize the enrollment work in 2025 and deploy the enrollment work in 2026 in the People's Police.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Quyen, Deputy Director of Hanoi Police Department, emphasized that enrollment work in the People's Police is a particularly important task, a input stage that determines the quality of human resources of the Police force in the future.
Therefore, units need to continue to pay attention to directing and synchronously and closely implementing stages from propaganda, guidance, registration for admission, receiving applications, background verification, health checks, admission consideration to selection requests; thereby selecting candidates with qualities, abilities, bravery, meeting the requirements of building a regular, elite, and modern People's Police force.
The Deputy Director of the City Police also requested to strengthen coordination, especially with the education sector; promote propaganda to students, especially 12th grade students, and expand early orientation for 10th and 11th grade students.
Commune-level police need to publicize the time and location of receiving dossiers, assigning in-charge officers, and provide complete and specific information guidance to create favorable conditions for students and their families in the application process.

At the conference, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Do Thi Phuong Thao, Deputy Head of the Organization and Personnel Department, presented a summary report summarizing the training and enrollment work of the People's Police in 2025; deploying guidelines for enrollment work in 2026 and clarifying some new points compared to 2025.
Regarding the enrollment work in 2026, the Deputy Head of the Personnel Organization Department disseminated new points on targets, enrollment methods, health standards, political standards, second degree enrollment and the process of selecting cadres for training. In which, continue to maintain appropriate enrollment methods, and at the same time adjust and supplement a number of criteria to improve input quality, ensuring strict, public, transparent, and regulated implementation.
Also at the conference, the Commander of the Training Team, Department of Organization and Personnel, guided units to fill out forms according to Plan No. 145 of the City Police, university and intermediate vocational school admission registration forms for 2026; introduced the system of forms and tables serving enrollment work; guided on verification, verification, political standards, and health standards of candidates; and exchanged and answered difficulties and obstacles arising in the process of implementation at the grassroots level.
Concluding the conference, authorized by the leaders of the City Police, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Do Thi Phuong Thao, Deputy Head of the Organization and Personnel Department, requested the Police of units to closely follow the regulations and guidelines of the Ministry of Public Security and Plan No. 145 of the City Police; organize a good preliminary selection, select the right subjects, and meet the standards; and at the same time strengthen coordination with relevant units, proactively review, verify, and promptly notify clearly for cases that do not meet the conditions, ensuring that the 2026 enrollment work is implemented publicly, objectively, and in accordance with regulations.
