Arrangement and merger of 2 colleges
Pursuant to the Resolution No. 11-NQ/DUB of the Standing Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade's Party Committee at the meeting on April 17, and Plan No. 3262/KH-BCT dated May 16, 2024 on organizing the arrangement of public non-business units under the Ministry of Industry and Trade in 2024-2025, the Ministry of Industry and Trade supplemented and adjusted the organization plan, arranging public non-business units under the Ministry of Industry and Trade in 2024-2025.
Accordingly, the arrangement will be carried out in the form of merging the College of Economics - Technology of Commerce and the Hanoi College of Industry and Economics into universities under the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Implement the merger of the College of Economics - Technology and Commerce into the University of Electricity; merge the Hanoi College of Economics and Industry into Sao Do University.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade assigns departments, functional departments of the Ministry and public non-business units of the Ministry to organize the tasks assigned in Plan No. 3262/KH-BCT dated 16.5.2024 on organizing the arrangement of public non-business units under the Ministry of Industry and Trade in 2024-2025.
Rearranging public service units
In addition, it also continues to thoroughly organize the implementation of the plan to arrange public non-business units under the Ministry of Industry and Trade in 2024-2025 and the directions of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on the organization and rearrangement of training institutions, research institutes and colleges under the Ministry of Industry and Trade to all officials, party members, officials and employees of the school.
In addition, preside over and closely coordinate with the Departments: Organization of cadres, Planning, Finance and Business Management, Department of Innovation, Green Transformation and Public Promotion, Legal Affairs, and the above-mentioned colleges to develop projects to merge colleges into universities according to plan, ensure compliance with legal regulations, report to the Ministry of Industry and Trade for consideration and report to competent authorities for approval. This plan is a part of Plan No. 3262/KH-BCT.
