Due to the impact of storms No. 10 and No. 11, from September 30 consecutive to October 8, the entire campus of Tay Mo Primary School (Tay Mo Ward, Hanoi) was always deeply flooded.
The water overflowed into the first floor of the classroom, school yard and school entrance road, some places were flooded 1m deep.
The prolonged flooding has affected facilities, teaching equipment and activities of teachers and students.

From October 1, more than 2,000 students of this school were forced to temporarily take a day off to ensure safety.
To keep the curriculum uninterrupted, the school has implemented online learning via the Zoom platform for all classes.
Immediately after the notification was sent to parents and students, online classes were organized according to a specific schedule.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thanh Ha - Principal of the school, primary school students need to have more detailed instructions and interact with teachers, so when organizing online teaching, the school also requires teachers to interact with interactive activities and connect more with students.
At the same time, closely coordinate with parents to manage and guide students to complete their studies.

By October 10, the water had almost completely receded, creating favorable conditions for the implementation of general cleaning, cleaning and overcoming the consequences.
The school said that it received timely and responsible support from the Tay Mo Ward Women's Union, officers and soldiers of the soldiers of the 20th Confederation of Labor unit stationed in the ward, along with many parents of students of the classes.
The forces coordinated with the school's staff, teachers, and staff to clean the school, clear sewers, clean up mud, tables, chairs, and teaching equipment.
According to records on the afternoon of October 11, the campus of Tay Mo Primary School was dry and had been cleaned. According to the plan, the school will welcome students back on Monday (October13).
