On May 13, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province sent a document to Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, officially approving the location of the school's branch in Nha Trang city.
Accordingly, the branch project will be implemented on a land area of 4.3 hectares, part of the 1/2000 scale construction planning project of Bac Hon Ong school, vocational training and vocational training area, Phuoc Dong commune (Nha Trang city).
This land has a strategic location, east of planning road N4 and land of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics training facility; west of Ring Road 3; south of planning road 59; north of public green land.
Previously, Khanh Hoa province and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology had a working session to agree on the policy of opening branches in the locality. The Provincial People's Committee also requested the school to coordinate in implementing cooperation agreements and promoting investment in building new facilities.
In addition to the work of building facilities, the two sides also agreed to cooperate in linking training for industries suitable to the development potential of the locality such as: oil and gas, logistics, ocean technology, electronics engineering, etc.
These are industries of great significance in the orientation of socio-economic development, serving the requirements of industrialization and international integration of Khanh Hoa.
In parallel, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and departments and branches of Khanh Hoa province will jointly seek resources to implement scientific and technological tasks, promote cooperation with educational and training institutions in the area to create a sustainable education - research ecosystem, directly serving the development of the province.
