Hanoi Medical University has just announced enrollment information for 2026.
Accordingly, the school's total enrollment target is 2,150 students for 20 majors and training programs.
The 3 main admission methods of Hanoi Medical University include: Direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; Admission based on the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam; Admission based on the results of the competency assessment exam of Hanoi National University of Education (SPT) applied specifically to bachelor's majors.
At Thanh Hoa Branch, the school allocates 150 targets for Medicine and 310 targets for Nursing, Testing Engineering, IMAGing Engineering and Rehabilitation. In particular, for the medical imaging engineering major in Hanoi, the school allocates 50 targets for radiation therapy orientation based on the academic results of the first 2 years, in order to provide in-depth training according to the actual needs of the hospital.
Hanoi Medical University this year has a policy of bonus points (from 0.75 - 1.5 points) for candidates with international foreign language certificates such as IELTS (from 5.5 or higher), TOEFL iBT, SAT, HSK or French language certificates. This policy applies to most majors, especially Nursing advanced programs trained in English.


In addition, contestants who win First, Second, and Third prizes at the national excellent student selection exam or the national science and technology competition will also receive priority bonus points from 0.25 to 3.0 points.
The school notes that international certificates are only accepted to be tested in a direct form, not accepting certificates tested in an online (Online/Home Edition) form.
The school reserves 40% of the quota for each major for young talents who win international and regional Olympic prizes or national excellent students in Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Informatics, English and French. The prize-winning period is no more than 3 years up to the time of admission consideration.
Regarding tuition fees, the expected tuition fee for the 2026-2027 academic year for the Medicine major is 74.8 million VND/year and the Dentistry major is 80 million VND/year. Majors under the bachelor's system have tuition fees ranging from 19.1 to 53.2 million VND/school year depending on the level of autonomy of each affiliated unit.

Along with the tuition fee adjustment, the school allocates 8% of tuition revenue to the Scholarship Fund to encourage learning and 2% to the "I love Hanoi Medical University" Fund to support disadvantaged cases.
In addition, students also have the opportunity to access scholarships from international partners such as Mitsubishi, Merro, SympaMed with a value of up to 30 million VND/scholarship. For the articulation training system, the school allocates a total of 940 quotas for Nursing and Medical Testing Engineering majors, creating conditions for medical staff to improve their professional qualifications.
