Lam Dong - High waves caused sand on the 300m long Ganh Rai coastal road. Vehicles have difficulty circulating.

On the afternoon of November 28, the People's Committee of Phan Ri Cua commune (Lam Dong province) said that the locality had mobilized mechanical vehicles and local forces to clear the thick layer of sand covering the road surface of Ganh Ri section, route DT.716.

Due to the impact of storm No. 15, from the night of November 27 to the morning of November 28, the waves continuously rose and overflowed onto the road, carrying a large amount of sand covering the road surface of more than 300m.

The thick layer of sand makes motorbikes susceptible to slipping, many people have to stand still and wade through this section.

According to records, this is a coastal road with beautiful landscapes, often attracting people and tourists. Therefore, the situation of sand covering the road surface seriously affects traffic through the area.

After receiving the information, the People's Committee of Phan Ri Cua commune urgently sent motor vehicles to collect sand and return the road to be airy.

At around 10:00 a.m. on November 28, the repair was completed and the road was reopened, ensuring safety for vehicles.
