According to a representative of Hanoi Railway One Member Co., Ltd. (Hanoi Metro), the number of passengers traveling on the two urban railway lines on August 21 was about 2.5 times higher than normal days (average about 45,000 trips). Specifically: on August 21, 110,000 were served, on August 24, 146,000 were served and today, August 27, over 130,000 passengers were served. This shows that people have confidently chosen urban railways as a main method of participating in traffic, attending events to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2 in the central area of Hanoi Capital.

Mr. Khuat Viet Hung - Chairman of the Board of Members, Head of the Executive Committee of Hanoi Railway One Member Co., Ltd. said that from today (8. 27), passengers can buy round-trip tickets right at the station. For example, passengers traveling from Yen Nghia station to Cat Linh station can buy both round-trip and return tickets at the same time, serving until 24h tonight.
Mr. Hung also recommended that passengers need to prepare enough health and nutrition before attending the event. Because the event area will be very crowded, travel and eating can be difficult. Therefore, each person should proactively bring water to drink and necessary snacks to ensure their health throughout the participation period.
At Cat Linh Station, passengers who need cleaning should take advantage of the service right inside the station before leaving. There is a free service area in the station, although it can be crowded, you just have to wait a few more minutes. After leaving the station, finding a public toilet will be more difficult and often overloaded.

For passengers traveling on the Nhon - Cau Giay route, in addition to the restroom in the station, they can also use the restroom of the University of Transport. In this regard, the school has coordinated and supported the city and the company to serve the people.
To avoid congestion after the end of the Festival, passengers are advised to stay for a visit, have fun for about 1-2 hours in the central area before leaving the station. This will help reduce pressure, limit jostling and pushing, and ensure safer and more convenient movement.
From August 30 to September 2, the Hanoi People's Committee decided to exempt passengers from traveling by public transport to attend the events of the Capital's Central City. Accordingly, passengers traveling on the Cat Linh - Ha Dong and Nhon - Cau Giay urban railway lines are still issued tickets with denominations but do not have to pay.
"For convenience, passengers can request to receive 2 tickets for both the departure and return, avoiding the situation of having to queue up to receive tickets when returning to the station," the representative of Metro Hanoi advised.
