At the 4th Session of the 9th Quang Tri Provincial People's Council held from July 16 - 18, 2026, the Provincial People's Council approved the Resolution approving the adjustment of the investment policy for the Coastal Road and Nhat Le 3 bridge project.
According to the resolution, the total investment of the entire project is adjusted from 3,790 billion VND to 3,815 billion VND, an increase of 25 billion VND. In which, component project 1 maintains the investment level of 2,490 billion VND; component project 2 - Nhat Le 3 bridge is adjusted from 1,300 billion VND to 1,325 billion VND.
The capital structure is also adjusted accordingly. The Central budget continues to support 2,700 billion VND, keeping it unchanged compared to the approved policy. The local budget and other legal capital sources increased from 1,090 billion VND to 1,115 billion VND, an increase of 25 billion VND.
According to records, to date, Nhat Le 3 bridge has completed about 95% of the construction volume. The main bridge part is basically completed, currently only waiting for completion of site clearance in the East to deploy access roads and complete the entire project.
Nhat Le 3 bridge spans the Nhat Le River, belongs to the Coastal Road and Nhat Le 3 bridge Project, with a total length of more than 2.8km. The project is implemented in the 2022-2026 period.
When completed and put into use, the project will connect the two banks of the Nhat Le River, reduce the load on the existing transportation system, contribute to completing urban infrastructure and create motivation for the development of urban space and coastal tourism in Quang Tri province.
