On December 4, according to information from the People's Committee of Dong Nai province, the project to upgrade and expand DT 773 road is expected to have its land use planning adjusted at the meeting of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Council at the end of 2024.
According to the People's Committee of Dong Nai province, the DT 773 road project, along with DT 769 road, DT 770B road and the inter-port road of Nhon Trach district, are public investment projects that are undergoing investment procedures.
However, these projects mainly have problems with synchronization and conformity with planning types, because in the process of implementing the investment policy step, the overall planning assessment is based on traffic planning and land use planning.
When implementing the project, the project route passes through many localities with complex terrain, requiring adjustment of some curve locations and intersection locations to comply with design standards and ensure technical factors, leading to some locations not being in accordance with related planning.
According to the planning of Dong Nai province, the project to upgrade and expand DT 773 road has a length of more than 39 km. The project has a starting point at the intersection with National Highway 1A in Xuan Tam commune, Xuan Loc district and an end point at Huong Lo 10 at the intersection with Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4, which is planned to be built with a scale of 6-8 lanes.
DT 773 Road is a parallel route and shares traffic with National Highway 1A. This is also an important traffic axis connecting Xuan Loc district, Cam My district, Long Khanh city with Long Thanh airport.
The total investment capital of the project is more than 4,300 billion VND. The project implementation period is from 2022-2027.
According to the People's Committee of Dong Nai province, DT 773 road, along with DT 769 road and DT 770B road, are on the list of projects that the Department of Planning and Investment advised the People's Committee of Dong Nai province to report to the Government for support from the Central Government to implement the project in the period of 2026-2030.
