Of which, the Trang An resettlement area is 5.5 hectares in Tam Phuoc Ward, Bien Hoa City. This is an empty land area handed over by the Dong Nai General Agricultural Service Cooperative Union, currently being adjusted to a detailed 1/500 plan, as a basis for implementing a feasibility study report, with the plan to arrange 250 resettlement lots.
Next is the Long Binh Tan resettlement area with an area of 9.64 hectares, of which 5.7 hectares are public land that has been decided to be reclaimed by the Eastern Forestry Joint Stock Company. Currently, a detailed construction plan of 1/500 is being prepared, as a basis for implementing the feasibility study report. It is expected to arrange 240 townhouses and land for building high-rise apartments.
In addition, resettlement will be arranged for households cleared of the National Highway 1A resettlement areas, Bien Hoa City bypass section (there are still 13 lots not yet resettled) and Long Binh Tan 2 resettlement area of 1.5 hectares...
According to Bien Hoa City People's Committee, the entire area in Bien Hoa 1 Commercial - Service Urban Area has about 255 households that must be relocated.
Previously, on February 23, 2024, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province issued a decision approving the project to convert the function of Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park into an urban - commercial - service and environmental improvement area.
By June 10, 2024, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province continued to issue a plan to implement the relocation of factories and enterprises according to the Project to convert Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park into a commercial - service urban area and improve the environment.
Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park is the oldest industrial park in Vietnam, established in 1963 under the name Bien Hoa Industrial Park. After 1975, Bien Hoa Industrial Park was renamed Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park.
According to the project to convert Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park into a commercial - service urban area and improve the environment, in phase 1, there are 14 companies in the area of Area 1 (about 75.1 hectares), located to the south of Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park (adjacent to An Hao bridge, Tran Quoc Toan street, Le Van Duyet street, Hanoi highway) that are also subject to relocation.
