The project to expand National Highway 6 through Ha Dong district (5.9km) and Chuong My district (15.8km) will start construction at the end of 2022 with a total investment of VND 8,100 billion.
The starting point of the project is located at km14 in Ba La, Ha Dong district; the end point is km38, Xuan Mai town, Chuong My district.

In Chuong My district, by the end of 2024, the locality has handed over the site to the investor and contractor with an area of about 57.58 hectares, reaching 67.45% (public land and agricultural land) to implement the project.
For the remaining area, Chuong My district strives to complete site clearance in the first quarter of 2026.
In Ha Dong district, the total land area to be recovered for the project is expected to be about 26.46ha (public land 6.96ha; residential land, commercial services 8.36ha; agency land 0.16ha; rice and aquaculture land 10.95ha; cemetery land 0.026ha) related to 1,266 households and individuals.
The number of households expected to be resettled is about 317 households. The City People's Committee has approved the principle of a resettlement housing fund for the project in 2023, including 50 apartments, of which 19 apartments are at H's house in Trung Van ward, Nam Tu Liem district and 31 apartments are at A2 Kim Giang housing fund, Thanh Xuan district.

To speed up progress and ensure the exploitation of the documents on site clearance that have been carried out to avoid duplication of costs, Ha Dong district has proposed that the City People's Committee consider and approve the policy to allow receipt of the results of the work performed and sign the contract appendix on the basis of Contract No. 139/2022/HDTV-BQLCTGT dated November 2, 2022, to complete the remaining work to speed up the project implementation progress.
In the center of Hanoi, the site clearance work to implement the project to build the Ring Road 2.5 from Nguyen Trai Street (National Highway 6) to Dam Hong is being focused on by Thanh Xuan District.
The project is about 1.5km long, starting at Nguyen Trai Street (Thuong Dinh Ward), ending at Dam Hong (Khuong Dinh Ward).
This is a group A project with a total investment of more than VND 2,500 billion, invested by Thanh Xuan District People's Committee. The implementation period is from 2022 to 2026.

To implement the project, Thanh Xuan District will reclaim and clear 60,902.1m2 of land, involving 703 organizations, individuals, and households in the 4 wards of Thuong Dinh, Ha Dinh, Khuong Trung, and Khuong Dinh.
Up to now, the People's Committees of the wards have completed the investigation, measurement, and inventory of organizations, households, and individuals whose land is recovered to implement the project; approved compensation and support plans for 4 organizations in Thuong Dinh ward.

The most difficult thing at present is land management, construction order, and management of the residential status of citizens in areas with limited site clearance in wards.
In addition, the situation of using, buying, selling, transferring agricultural land, and constructing works that are not in accordance with the provisions of law in the site clearance area still occurs many times...
Thanh Xuan District strives to complete the issuance of land acquisition decisions and approve compensation, support and resettlement plans for all organizations, households and individuals within the project scope in 2025.
After completing the site clearance, the investor will hand over the site to the contractor to implement the project, and soon put it into use to solve the congestion, as well as synchronize the urban transport infrastructure system.
