In Package No. 3 (under Component Project 3), along with the construction of the roadbed, An Nguyen contractor is simultaneously installing a fence, guardrail and a traffic safety system.
According to Mr. Le Quoc Thang - Deputy Director of An Nguyen Company Limited, the construction unit of the section Km10.+500 to Km108+000 - to date, the output has reached more than 63% of the plan.
Of which, 4.4/6.5km of semi-hollow asphalt concrete has been paved; 6cm thick C19 tight asphalt concrete has also reached 4.4/6.5km, basically meeting the progress.
At the construction site, workers work in "3 shifts, 4 teams". Mr. Y Tien - a fence construction worker shared: "For more than a month now, we have been working through the sun with a high determination, striving to complete the package soon".
Currently, workers are completing the following items: Closing soft guardrails in the section Km104+000 - Km108+000; Zinc barrier pillars in the section Km105+000 - Km107+600; reinforcing slopes, installing more than 100m of fence and guardrail.
The intelligent transportation system (ITS) is also being installed with cable tanks and COD pipes at two sections Km10.10+500 - Km104+800 and Km107+600 - Km108+000.
Mr. Thang said that in July, the contractor will complete all layers of cement reinforced gravel, asphalt concrete pavement, installation of soft guardrails, barbed wire fences, as well as complete the cable tank and COD system of the entire route.
The entire Component Project 3 is over 48km long, with a total investment of over VND6,000 billion, invested by the Dak Lak Province Traffic Construction Investment and Agriculture and Rural Development Project Management Board.
The project is divided into 3 construction packages with the participation of 7 contractors, currently deployed 41 construction teams, mobilizing 462 equipment and 765 human resources. The total volume of the entire route has reached 54.13% of the contract value.
However, compared to the completion date of August 30, 2025, the project is still behind schedule. Among the contractors, Son Hai (package 01) and An Nguyen (package 03) are the two units that are basically closely following the progress.
The leader of the Project Management Board said that they are urging contractors to speed up and take advantage of favorable weather to compensate for the construction volume.
For contractors who are slow for a long time, we will consider cutting the volume to ensure the overall progress of the project, emphasized the leader of the Project Management Board.
