According to the Hanoi Department of Construction, currently, flooded locations do not ensure safe traffic for vehicles traveling on Road 421B (81 old) at Km11+300 and Km6+700; Bridge 72II on Road 423 (72 old) is deeply flooded. Vehicles that need to travel through the above area will follow the following direction: at Km6+700 DT.421B (Quoc Oai Commune), moving through Thach Than - Van Quang - Nghia Huong Bridge - to the left turn to Hanoi and turn right to Xuan Mai; vehicles moving from Xuan Mai - Quoc Oai - Thang Long Avenue.
At Km17+00 DT.421B (Quoc Oai district), vehicles moving in the direction of Xuan Mai follow National Highway 6 - Ho Chi Minh trail - Thang Long Avenue - Quoc Oai.
In An Khanh commune, vehicles traveling on route 423 (72 old) across bridge 72II to Hoai Duc, Ha Dong, to Km9+200 turn onto route 419 to Chuc Son or Thang Long Avenue. Vehicles from Ha Dong and Hoai Duc crossed the 72II bridge to Quoc Oai, to Km8+100 of Road 423 (Van Con commune post office) turn right onto Thang Long Avenue to go to Quoc Oai.
Yen So bridge on road 422 from Quoc Oai commune to Son Dong commune is currently flooded 1m. Vehicles move in the first direction: Ly Phuc Man Street, intersection with Road 422 (Km12+800) to Phung Town - to Km25 of National Highway 32 - turn left along the district road to Km2+000 of Road 421 (dike road). Vehicles can also travel along Ly Phuc Man Street to Thang Long Avenue at Km11+600 - to Km15+700 turn right onto Road 421.
The Department of Construction also requested the People's Committees of An Khanh and Quoc Oai communes to arrange functional forces to be on duty, coordinate with relevant units to regulate and guide traffic flow at flooded locations according to the Department's traffic flow plan, to prevent unsafety and traffic congestion.
The Hanoi Traffic Infrastructure Maintenance Board is responsible for organizing the implementation of repairing incidents and damages to road traffic infrastructure caused by floods on routes under its management authority; regularly monitoring and evaluating traffic situation, flooding areas on routes and neighboring areas to promptly detect and propose traffic diversion plans, ensuring appropriate traffic safety.
