Lam Dong - Many key transport projects in the province are behind schedule, the capital disbursement rate in 2025 will only reach 11.12%.

On July 19, the Lam Dong Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board said that the DT.719B coastal road project, Phan Thiet - Ke Ga section, with a total investment of VND 1,274 billion, is a key project of the province.

This project is 25.61 km long. Of which, 17.8km from National Highway 1 to Suoi Nhum Bridge has been completed and put into operation. The remaining 3.88km section through the Titan mining area of Tan Quang Cuong Company Limited has not yet handed over the construction site.

The construction volume is currently about 80% of the contract value. However, according to the investor's assessment, the project's capital disbursement plan for 2025 has only reached 9.19%.

The DT.719B Coastal Axis Project, Hon Lan - Tan Hai section, with a total length of 10.4km, is expected to be completed on December 31, 2025. The project's construction progress has reached about 32% of the contract volume. The site has been handed over about 92%. Capital disbursement in 2025 will reach 8.69%.

Similarly, the Van Thanh Bridge project (Phan Thiet), with an implementation period of December 30, 2025, is also behind schedule due to land clearance problems, and construction measures must be adjusted. Currently, the project has reached about 54% of the volume, and the capital disbursement in 2025 has reached 10.28%.

The road project from Tan Minh town to Son My is 23.71km long, expected to be completed on September 1, 2027. The capital disbursement volume in 2025 will reach 5.93%.

The DT.719 bypass project and the bridge over the Dinh River are expected to be completed on June 15, 2027; the disbursement in 2025 will only reach 0.35%.

According to the report of the Department of Construction, the disbursement of investment capital for transport projects in 2025 only reached 11.12%.

Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Hong Hai has requested the Traffic Project Management Board to report in detail the problems and have more drastic and focused instructions to promote the disbursement of capital.

He also requested that communes and wards where projects have passed through reports of difficulties and problems affecting project progress so that departments and branches can advise and propose to coordinate in removing them.

Mr. Nguyen Hong Hai - Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee also said that the disbursement rate of capital for the above works and projects is very low. Subjective causes are largely the responsibility of the Traffic Project Management Board.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Hong Hai has directed specific solutions and solutions for each project. In which, tasks are assigned to each commune, ward, department, branch and project management board.

At the same time, set a specific time for units to focus on urgently resolving the issue to promote the progress of the projects.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the Department of Agriculture and Environment to submit technical regulations for approval in July as a basis for site clearance.

For the Department of Finance, every month it will preside over and work with the Department of Construction to inspect the projects to urge the progress and quality of the projects.
