Two new 30-40m wide roads to be built in Hoang Mai, Hanoi

Hanoi - Hoang Mai District will build two 30-40m wide roads to help synchronize traffic infrastructure, contributing to the socio-economic development of the southern gateway of the city.

In October 2023, the Hanoi People's Committee approved the investment project to build the Minh Khai - Vinh Tuy - Yen Duyen route connecting from Ring Road 2.5 to Ring Road 3 (Hoang Mai District).

The project is invested in construction with the aim of completing the traffic infrastructure system according to the approved planning, creating a connecting axis for roads and urban areas in the area to ensure aesthetics, help reduce traffic congestion, and contribute to promoting the socio-economic development of Hoang Mai district.

According to the plan, the project is about 2km long with a cross-section of 40m, passing through the wards of Yen So, Tran Phu, Linh Nam, Vinh Hung and Hoang Van Thu with a total expected recovered area of ​​nearly 65,000m2.

Currently, Hoang Mai district has directed departments and offices to coordinate with 5 wards to conduct investigations, surveys, measurements, determine land areas, and count houses and other assets attached to land to develop compensation, support and resettlement plans.

It is expected that in the first quarter of 2025, Hoang Mai district will complete land acquisition and site clearance to start the project.

In addition to the above project, the Hanoi People's Committee has also approved an investment project to build a road from the Tam Trinh intersection to the intersection with Minh Khai - Vinh Tuy - Yen Duyen road, Hoang Mai district.

This is a group B project invested by Hoang Mai District People's Committee with a total length of 718.94m from Tam Trinh intersection to the intersection with Minh Khai - Vinh Tuy - Yen Duyen route.

Starting point Km0 from the intersection of Tam Trinh road and Linh Nam road, ending point Km0+718.94 in Ao Mo new urban area. Typical cross-section scale of the road is 30m.

The project aims to build roads and technical infrastructure items, ensuring aesthetics, in accordance with the overall planning; making an important contribution to the socio-economic development of the area; meeting travel needs, traffic flow, and reducing traffic congestion.

In addition to newly built roads, Hoang Mai district is also focusing on expanding two main roads including Tam Trinh and Linh Nam.

With the project to expand Tam Trinh road 3.5km long, with an investment capital of more than 3,300 billion VND, the project has now cleared and has a construction area of ​​about 800m.

Hoang Mai District strives to complete site clearance by the end of 2024 and to complete the expansion of Tam Trinh Street with a cross-section of 40m, meeting the needs of 6 lanes by 2026.

With the project to expand Linh Nam Street from Tam Trinh intersection to Nguyen Khoi dyke intersection, 3.4km long, Hoang Mai District People's Committee is currently preparing documents and approving specific land prices to serve compensation, support and resettlement.

The total area of ​​land recovered and cleared for project implementation is 98,300m2, involving 829 households and 19 organizations in 4 wards of Mai Dong, Vinh Hung, Linh Nam and Tran Phu.

Hoang Mai District People's Committee strives to start construction by June 2025 and complete the project by 2027. The expanded road will have 2 sections with cross-sections of 22.5m and 40m respectively.
