Accordingly, the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) (Ministry of Public Security) said that at about 10:50 a.m. on June 12, at Km 19+200 of the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway in Viet Yen, Yen My, Hung Yen communes, a traffic accident occurred between 3 cars, including: Tractor trailer with license plate 29H- 70684, pulling a trailer 29R-026.94, a traffic patrol car of the Hanoi - Hai Phong BOT Company with license plate 29C-496.90 was stopping to assist a vehicle in distress on the route and a crane truck with license plate 29H-201.68 was rescuing a passenger car with license plate 29B-057.43.
The accident caused the driver of the crane truck and the tractor-trailer to die at the scene (the identities of these two drivers are currently unknown); 3 cars were damaged.
The Commander of the Highway Traffic Police Team No. 2, the Road and Railway Traffic Patrol and Control Guidance Department, the Traffic Police Department and Working Group No. 1 were present at the scene, dividing the lane to regulate traffic, and preventing traffic congestion.
The working group contacted the Investigation Police Agency of Hung Yen Province Police to go to the scene to continue investigating and resolving the case.
