According to initial information, the accident occurred at about 2:30 PM on February 18th (the 2nd day of Lunar New Year).
At the above time, a 7-seater car with license plate 61K-302.20 (identity of the driver unknown) was traveling on National Highway 28 in the direction from Bao Lam 5 commune (Lam Dong) to Gia Nghia (former Dak Nong).

When reaching the steep pass section through Bao Lam 5 commune, the car collided with a motorbike with Dak Lak province license plate. There were 3 people on the motorbike at this time, including father, mother and son.
The collision caused the motorbike to fall into a ravine about 3 meters deep on the side of the road.

As a result, the husband died on the spot. The wife and son were seriously injured and taken to Lam Dong Hospital II for emergency treatment by functional agencies in critical condition.
The victim who died in the accident was Mr. Nong Van Tuan (46 years old, residing in Dak Lak province).
Two seriously injured people are being treated at the hospital, including Ms. Long Thi Huyen (46 years old, Mr. Tuan's wife) and child Nong Hai Lam (10 years old, Mr. Tuan's son), both residing in Dak Lak province.

According to initial information, the victim's family was on their way from Dak Lak to Lam Dong to celebrate Tet when they encountered a tragic accident.

Immediately after the incident occurred, functional forces were present to blockade and examine the scene to investigate and clarify the cause of the accident.
Upon receiving the information, the SOS Bao Loc team (Lam Dong) also arrived to support the removal of the victims' bodies from the scene of the accident.
